ONCHAINMONKEY GOES TO BTC 🤠

OnChainMonkey (OCM), a historic and popular NFT collection on Ethereum, has decided to migrate 10,000 Genesis NFTs to Bitcoin.

OCM launched their Genesis NFT collection in September 2021 as a free mint. The project is best known for uploading its entire NFT collection on Ethereum in a single transaction.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • 99% of their token holders voted on a proposal to move their Genesis NFT collection to Bitcoin Ordinals.

  • Metagood, the company behind the collection, expects the move to cost over $1M.

  • OCM DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), has proposed a community subsidy that would make the migration free for holders. The amount is expected to be $571K worth of ETH.

  • A single OCM Genesis NFT is worth Ξ1.07 ETH (~$1.75K).

“In the past, other projects have been paid substantial amounts to move to another blockchain. We are doing the opposite. We are so convinced in our move that we are spending more than $1 million of our own resources to make the move to Bitcoin in an important and innovative way.”

THE LAZARUS GROUP STRIKES AGAIN 💀

According to the FBI, The Lazarus Group, a North Korean hacker organization, is allegedly responsible for the $41M hack of Stake, an online crypto casino.

Now this isn’t The Lazarus Group’s first rodeo. They have stolen a grand total of $2B+ in digital assets from crypto exchanges and crypto-related businesses.

Here’s a look at their track record:

  • March 2022 - Stole $620M+ from the crypto game, Axie Infinity, through a fake job offer to one of the game developers.

  • January 2023 - $100M+ stolen from Layer 1 blockchain, Harmony Protocol.

  • June 2023 - $35M hacked from Atomic Wallet.

Before establishing themselves as the most notorious hackers in crypto, the group preyed on Asian financial institutions, governments, media outlets, and even militaries.

The Lazarus Group serves as a constant reminder that you have to be cautious while navigating the waters of crypto.

TRADERS GO BANANAS 🍌

It’s time for opportunity.

Today, we’re going bananas for Banana Gun and their upcoming token $BANANA.

None of this is financial advice, please DYOR (DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH)!

What is Banana Gun?

  • Banana Gun is a Telegram DEX trading bot that allows you to snipe upcoming launches, or buy tokens that are already live.

  • Their trading bot has processed $188M+ in lifetime volume according to @whale_hunter.

  • Their whitepaper states that they aim to raise 800 ETH (~$1.3M) with their token launch.

The Banana Gun token has garnered much hype in the trading community. This could be attributed to the success of another Telegram trading bot Unibot and its token $UNIBOT which went from ~$20 in June 2023 to an ATH of ~$220 in August 2023.
